MOA BREWING CO.; STEPPING UP TO SUPPORT CONSERVATION

Moa Brewing Co. CEO Geoff Ross, also a trustee of the Endangered Species Foundation, has a vested interest in preserving New Zealand’s vulnerable wildlife.

So when the names Shelton Woolright, Otis Frizzell, Flox (Hayley King), Askew One and Dean Sacred are used in one sentence, you know it’s going to be good.

Although not the next celebrity charity single (sorry folks), this collab did involve charity elements and proved to have an equally important message.

The latest creative talent to come from up Shelton Woolright’s ink-covered sleeves, Lonesome Beast Native presented by Moa Brewing Co. saw The Auckland Zoo play host to an exhibition where 15 limited-edition prints of Woolright’s exclusive photography were layered with unique designs by one of the partner artists. Ten per cent of sales from all prints was donated to The Auckland Zoo Conservation Fund.

To further support conservation efforts in the wild throughout New Zealand and overseas, Moa Brewing Co. wrapped 15 of its Moa Methode Pilsner Magnum brews with the lead Moa image from the exhibit and contributed all proceeds of its sales to the Conservation Fund.

“We feel it’s important that Moa gets behind efforts to protect what makes New Zealand so unique,” says Ross.
