Undertow Media kicks off 2017 with its migration to a bigger, brighter bolt hole

With a new year often comes a new set of ideas.

But for Undertow Media the changes that came with welcoming in 2017 were more in the form of bricks and mortar than musings and contemplations.

After a busy twelve months, which saw the agency grow from seven to 12 staff and with the success of a raft of projects across its client base, transitioning to a new space was a move that came even quicker than Managing Director, Greer Bland, expected:

“An office move is always a big undertaking but we’re expanding at an exciting pace with a strong portfolio of clients and we couldn’t wait any longer. We now have a space with enough room to foster creativity, house our fashion showroom and make dreams of whole new divisions a reality as the media landscape continues to churn.” says Greer.

While the decision to escape the old environment came off the back of the agency’s growth, it opened up an opportunity for Undertow to create an inviting and memorable space, complete with open plan office and room to grow, that would not only harbour creativity but encourage it.

“Developing innovative concepts and quick thinking are major parts of our business so we need our creative space to be inspiring and promote collaboration,” says Undertow Media Creative Director, Imogen O’Neill.

The flow-on effects from this move have been numerous, and it’s been fantastic to hear the impressed comments from both current and potential clients as well as media friends who often remark on the new premises (and the availability of off-street parking).

Interested in meeting the team and seeing our new office space? We can always find an excuse for a mid-morning coffee so pop in and see us at 8 Newton Road, Grey Lynn in Auckland!
